Threnody for the Victims of Hiroshima by Krzysztof Pendereck
Nothing will beat my thunderstorm CD. I would have my box fan blowing on me set on high and the storms in the background. Feels like a warm stormy night in August any day of the week.I also like Pure Moods Vol. 1. Falling into that phase of delirium before going completely out listening to Tubular Bells Part 1 is a wonderful feeling.I love the 'nature' CD's, but it's hard to find ones that are ONLY 'sounds of nature' and don't have that crappy ambient music in the background. If anyone knows of any titles, toss them my way.
Hey, I was just thinking of something. Did we burn you a copy of that Rachmaninov CD I have? If we did and you still have it, did out the Variations on a Theme of Paginini (particularly Variation #18).
No music i watch night at the opera
Lately we listen to a lot of Rammstein to go to sleep. To Jeff, it's like industrial opera because it's in German. We also occasionally listen to Lacuna Coil, Evanescence, Three Days Grace, and Cold. Really anything that drowns out the neighbor's noises is fine.
Bach Unacc Cello Suites, mayhaps without the dance mvts
Sorry to come up with a 3rd suggestion (1 being quite fake, lol), but I'd consider trying something minimalistic, something that's simple where the harmonies shift around very subtly. I'm gonna try exploring some myself, perhaps some John Adams. Harmonium sounds nice (assuming ya remember Register's class, lol).
No music. Just whatever interesting tv show or movie I happen across while channel surfing.
No music here either. Anything with Arabic voice tends to put me to sleep. Maybe that's why I struggled so much at DLI. Hmm....
