I've always found this picture particularly fascinating. I come from a fairly traditional Roman Catholic background, and the architecture of old churches and buildings is something to which I've always paid close attention. The way the light slants in through the windows, the workmanship of wood and stone... It speaks volumes for the craftsmen who have put so much time and effort into creating it.
